Lucerne, 13 March 2015It’s exactly two years since Emmi set a new benchmark in the chiller cabinet with Pure Swiss Yogurt. Three ingredients, nothing more. And they’re proving popular. Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt is now available in nine varieties. The Plum and Blood Orange winter varieties are being followed by two fresh summer yogurts: Banana-Kiwi and Strawberry-Rhubarb. The new Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink is now also available in the chiller cabinet in a practical 250 ml bottle.

 

 

 

In March 2013, Emmi successfully launched a new generation of yogurts in the Swiss retail market. The idea of only using three ingredients and as a result doing entirely without additives such as flavourings and stabilising agents is very popular among Swiss consumers. The Pure Swiss Yogurt range is therefore now being expanded further, firstly with Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink, which is available in three varieties (Strawberry, Raspberry and Tropical (mango, pineapple and passion fruit)), and secondly with two new seasonal varieties (Banana-Kiwi and Strawberry-Rhubarb). A further addition will also be made to the standard Pure Swiss Yogurt Range from mid-May, in the form of the Tropical variety (mango, pineapple, passion fruit and papaya).

 

 

Outstanding raw ingredients

 

Making fruit yogurt without flavourings means that only the tastiest fruits can be used. The selection of fruits therefore has top priority for Pure Swiss Yogurt – and of course for the new Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink.

 

In addition to milk and sugar, a further Swiss raw ingredient is also being used in the new varieties: rhubarb. The tropical fruits are of course from somewhat sunnier climes.

 

 

Change in the Pure Swiss Yogurt range

 

The new Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink in a practical 250 ml bottle and the new Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt summer varieties will be available in Swiss retailers from mid-March. They are expected to be replaced by new seasonal varieties in the autumn.

Yogurt, 15 % fruit (8 % strawberries, 7 % rhubarb), sugar (added sugar: 9 g/100 g)

Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Banana-Kiwi

Yogurt, 13 % fruit (7 % banana, 6 % kiwi), sugar (added sugar: 8.5 g/100 g)

Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Tropical (from May)

Yogurt, 13 % fruit (mango, pineapple, passion fruit juice, papaya), sugar (added sugar: 9 g/100 g)

Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink Strawberry

Low-fat yogurt (1.5 % fat), 15 % strawberries, sugar (added sugar: 8.5 g/100 g)

Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink Raspberry

Low-fat yogurt (1.5 % fat), 13 % raspberries, sugar (added sugar: 9.5 g/100 g)

Emmi Pure Swiss Yogurt Drink Tropical

Low-fat yogurt (1.5 % fat), 14 % fruit (mango, pineapple, passion fruit), sugar (added sugar: 8 g/100 g)
